Should i get my child tested for allergies ?

If the child doesn’t gain weight correctly or has repeated digestive problems then we would certainly test for associated food allergies. Or if the child has respiratory problems like asthma or asthma like symptoms, then we would make certain oriented tests to find out what respiratory allergies he may have. This is not necessarily related to his eczema and should be treated separately. A child suffering from eczema, can, therefore, be tested for allergies but only if there is suspicion of a specific associated food or respiratory allergy.
