The child can develop sensitivity to certain allergens in the environment if they have an allergic terrain. The fact that a child has an allergic terrain, however, doesn’t mean it’s the cause of his eczema. These allergic reactions are not the cause of eczema, which often develops regardless of the environmental sensitivities of the child.
